Learn to Skate
This year, Great Bay will be offering Learn to Skate Classes for all ages.  Classes
will be held on Saturday mornings at the Dover Ice Arena.

Learn to Skate Classes will be held from 10:25-11:20 on Saturdays.  
New this
year,
there is the option to either take the basic skills track, which teaches skating
basics, or to enroll in the hockey skating class.

registration form before arriving for class to save time!
Next session begins Saturday, February 6th, but you can begin
classes at any time during a session.  
Plan to arrive 25 minutes
before the start of class on your first day.

adults) should plan to attend the 10:25 class.
Classes include 45 minutes of instruction by certified instructors and 10 minutes
of open practice time.  Four sessions will be offered. Each session is 5 or 6
weeks long. Cash, Check, Visa or MC are accepted.

After completing all levels,

After completing the intro levels,
skaters can progress to more
advanced classes.
  • All students in the Basic Learn to Skate class must wear a helmet
    and gloves.  Either figure skates or hockey skates may be worn.
  • All students in the Hockey Learn to Skate class must wear a
    hockey helmet and hockey skates.
  • All hockey elements will be taught WITHOUT sticks or pucks.
